Innovation activities at Simula

Innovation is core to Simula’s activities and identity, and has been one of the three foundational pillars since Simula was established in 2001.

Simula’s innovation activities currently include support and investments in tech start-ups, deep-tech consulting, and contract research. These activities are primarily carried out by the specialized units at Simula outlined below.

Simula Innovation (SI) is focused on building a substantial company portfolio consisting of spin-outs from Simula’s research and start-ups at the Simula Garage, as well as external tech start-ups.
